From Eindhoven to the UFC

That is what Cage Warriors Academy Lowlands (CWALL) is for. We are the amateur MMA organization of the Benelux, based in Eindhoven. This is where fighters take their first fights, work their way up the amateur ranks, win their first belts and then go out to find out how far they can go. Ayoub Oqbani, our first featherweight champion. Marc-Philippe Ngatchou. Rachman Tchekuyev. Wouter van Bussel. They all earned their gold in this cage, and the next one might be on the card you are about to watch.

Because now it actually happened. Alvi “Spartan” Dasuyev, who won his welterweight title right here in our cage, is now a UFC fighter. He fought his way up on our cards from 2021, took the belt in June 2023 with a first-round submission and defended it over five hard rounds that October. Three years later he is 10–0 as a pro and earned his UFC contract on Dana White’s Contender Series. The first CWALL champion in the UFC. We could not be prouder.

Our events are for amateurs, but nothing about them is amateurish. A professionally run show, a packed venue, a loud crowd and fighters who leave everything in the cage, from the first bout of the afternoon to the title fights at the end of the night.

We started as VFC in 2010, became Atlas MMA, then Versus MMA, and joined the Cage Warriors family on October 1, 2022. That link with Cage Warriors in the UK gives our fighters a real pathway: from a first amateur bout to the pro ranks and, as Alvi just showed, all the way to the top.
